CREATE AND LEARN MUSIC BOOKS are a fun and creative way to learn to play an instrument and read music.

During the over 35 years that I have been a music educator, I have been utilizing many of the unique methods in these books with great success. 
I am now offering them for purchase on Amazon KDP for use by Music teachers.  

•	Students compose their learning pieces in the Workbook during lessons with their teacher.
•	They then transcribe and illustrate them in the Music Book between lessons by themselves or with parents as a lovely, shared activity.

While these books are not meant to replace conservatory style method books, I do use them exclusively with some students, in conjunction with  teaching them repertoire that they enjoy.  
I also use them as a creative addition to other traditional Method book series' that most teachers are familiar with. 
Create and Learn Piano Books introduce many of the same basic musical elements at approximately the same rate as typical Piano method books. The difference is that the student creates and illustrates their own music in the process! Each learning template has a specifically designed exercise that provides an understanding of the basic music theory and notation needed for the child to transcribe their compositions into the separate Create and Learn Piano Transcription Book. This second book also has a place above the staff section for each piece where the student creates an illustration.
